Homebound Ministry
Outreach to members of our parish family who are homebound takes varied forms including periodic home visits, phone calls, and Holy Eucharist brought to the home by Eucharistic Ministers to the homebound. Hospital Visits
Because of the ‘managed care’ and privacy concerns, the parish no longer has access to patient information. It is thus important that a family member contact the parish office when someone is admitted to the hospital. This is necessary so that a priest or staff member may visit the patient during their stay in the hospital or rehabilitation center.
Please call when the patient returns home – Parish office: 201-939-0457
Hospitality Ministers / Ushers
The basic task of the usher is to be a minister of hospitality. Duties include greeting the people as they enter church, finding seats for people (when necessary), taking up the collection, facilitating the communion procession and distributing the church bulletins after Mass.
