St. Joseph’s Youth Ministry Basketball Program is a Parish sponsored program, open to all parish children in grades 3 through 8. There are both boys and girls divisions. The program has a dual personality: on one hand it is an instructional program, and we welcome children of all skill levels. Team and individual skills are continuously stressed and developed. On the other hand, we are also competitive, playing league and tournament games against other local parishes and town recreation programs.
We participate in both the Group 4 Parochial Basketball League, as well as the South Bergen Recreational League.
Registration normally takes place in October, and league play runs from December through March. Additionally, we also are always looking for adults interested in coaching, scoring, timekeeping, and acting as team parents.
