Angels' Attic

Angels' Attic Angels' Attic is one of several projects of the Community Service Committee. The Committee was Established over 10 years ago by a group of parishioners from the First Presbyterian Church, Christ Methodist Church and St. Joseph Church. It's purpose is to join together as brothers and sisters to respond to basic human concerns of families and individuals in times of critical need.

Angels' Attic was established as a "recycling" of new and gently used clothing and household items. Items are in good to excellent condition, and are resold at very reasonable rates.

Angels' Attic will be 10 years old in November. In addition to helping people in need with food vouchers, rents, utility, medical bills, prescription assistance, etc. Angels' Attic was "green" long before it was fashionable, promoting recycling, which reduces landfills and property taxes (by reducing dumping fees.) What isn't sold is donate to numerous charities and homeless.

Thanks to those who have donated unwanted new and used items, for 10 years our community has been helping others as well as providing a positive impact on our environment. Angels Attic, its volunteers, and donators have been Green since 1998.

All donations go to the Community Service Committee's Safety Net Fund which assists the Local Poor or the Temporarily Needy. In the past this fund has provided food vouchers, rents, utility, medical bills, prescription assistance, and assisted families that lost their homes to fire, etc.
