The Holy Name Society is a confraternity of the Catholic Church which fosters reverence for the Name of Jesus among Catholic men.
Membership in the H.N.S. is a unique way to serve God in a spiritual way and to achieve sanctification through mutual assistance and brotherhood in carrying out the mission and purpose of the society. And so, the H.N.S. seeks to attract “authentic devout Christians” who are serious in their religious practices, strong in faith and wish to grow in spiritual maturity and perfection as they serve God and parish and pray with other like-minded men of faith. H.N.S. members become a unique spiritual resource for the parish by praying for the priests and people of the parish.
The H.N.S. provides opportunities for fulfilling the spiritual and fraternal needs of its members. H.N.S. members honor the Holy Name of Jesus and assist the pastor in the spiritual and physical needs of the parish.
